This neighborhood’s amiable environment isn’t the only great thing about living here; many places in the area are easily accessible by foot. One of them is Danelle Plaza. This outdoor shopping center has a grocery store, a coffee shop, a few bars, local and chain eateries, and more. Other places that are walking distance away are the Edna Vihel Center for the Arts, the Tempe Public Library, and the Tempe History Museum. Here’s the icing on top of the cake: all three buildings are right next to each other, so you can check out some books, learn a bit of history, and take an art class in one to two hours with no need for a vehicle or public transportation. If you’re a parent of young children, you’ll love to know that there’s one elementary school that’s only steps away from Tempe Gardens. Even better, it’s right next to the community park, where your child(ren) can hang out after school.
